TechExpo 4.0 presents a unique opportunity to all the tech-enthusiasts to showcase their projects to the world on our virtual exhibition platform and stand a chance to win significant recognition and cash prizes through the Innovative Student Project Competition. The initiative is conceptualized to encourage engineering students to brew innovation with their subject knowledge and come up with practical solutions to social/environmental problems..
THEME : Innovating solutions for the pandemic and a sustainable Post Pandemic World
REGISTRATIONS DATE : December 12th - December 17th, 2020
ELIGIBILITY : Diploma and UG Students
Stage 1: Project Report Submission
The report should explain their innovative idea and how it provides a solution to the problem.
Maximum 3 pages (PDF format)
Deadline - 21st December, 2020
Round 1 : Project presentation through video conferencing
Detailed explanation of the project and the concept behind it is expected
Will be judged on the basis of the evaluation criteria
Date - 22nd December, 2020 and 23rd December, 2020
Stage 2: Video and Image Submission
The finalists need to record a video explaining the overview of their project along with demonstration(optional).
The duration of the video should not exceed 2 minutes.
Deadline - 27th December, 2020
Final Round: Live Virtual Exhibition
The finalist's video, images and brochure will be displayed on their virtual booth during the two days of the exhibition.
There will be a live voting system on the virtual platform.
Apart from the winners, there will also be an audience choice award for the finalist with the most number of votes.
Date - 29th December, 2020 and 30th December, 2020
TEAM AND FEE STRUCTURE:
Team Size : Maximum 4 participants in a team.
Registration Fee : Rs. 100 per team.
The projects will be evaluated on the following basis:
1. Project concept
2. Objective of the Project
3. Project Design and Construction
4. Compatibility
5. Implementation
6. Development Scope
7. Contribution to the Society
# Students from different colleges can be a part of the same team. However, one person cannot be a part of multiple teams for the same event.
# All decisions about competition are made by the judges and organizing team.
# Participating teams should completely respect their vote and decisions.
# Any kind of software integration on the virtual booths would not be provided by the organizers during the final round.
# If the audience choice award goes to one of the winners of the competition, the maximum of the two cash prizes will be awarded to them.
# Rules may be changed without prior intimation. Participants are requested to check the official MindSpark’20 website regularly for updates.
# In case of any disputes, the decision taken by the judges and organizing team will be considered final and binding to all.
