    THE MAIN OBJECTIVE OF THIS EVENT IS TO TEST THE THEORETICAL AND PRACTICAL KNOWLEDGE OF THE PARTICIPANTS IN THE FIELDS OF ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONICS ENGINEERING.

  • Structure

    The event will take place in 3 rounds.

    Round 1 : It will be an online test of 1 hour that will be conducted on a platform suggested by the Mindspark team. The format of this round will be multiple choice questions and fill in blanks. This round will be based on basics of circuits with marking scheme of +4 and -1. Top teams from Round 1 will proceed to Round 2.

    Round 2 : This round will be also online mode. The test consists of two sections. Total number of questions - 7. Section 1: 4 Questions and Section 2: 3 Questions.

    Section 1 : Numerical answer questions - Variable marks for correct answer(vary per question), 0 marks for wrong answer, 0 marks for unattempted.

    Section 2 : Multiple Choice Questions: +2 marks for correct answer, -1 marks for wrong answer, 0 marks for unattempted questions.

    It will be of 50 + 15 mins. The format will be multiple choice questions, integer type questions, one line answer questions. This round will be based on advanced skills of electrical circuits. The marking scheme will be similar to that of first round. For the first 4 questions, participants need to enter the correct answer int the text box provided. Along with that they need to write down stepwise solution to those 4 questions and mail the scanned document on email ID given on MindSpark's Website. The question wll not be displayed again. Participants need to write the solutions before they move to next slide. 15 minutes will be provided for mailing the document after the quiz time is over.

    Round 3 : Teams that have qualified for this round will have to face a practical exam. Their scores from round 1 and round 2 will be added and will serve as points earned. Each team will be given one or two problem statements to implement practically. This practical test will be conducted on Multisim or Psim as per availability at students place. They have to post a screenshot of their exact result within a stipulated time. After this practical tests the students will face an oral exam which will be conducted online. The total points from the oral exam and practical exam will be added to the previous total to declare the winners.

    TEAM AND FEE STRUCTURE:

    Team Size : Individual (lone wolf) participants only.

    Registration Fee : Rs. 50 per participant.

  • Rules

    1. Maximum team size:- 1 person per team

    2. All participants should have a valid ID card of their respective institute.

    3. Rules may be changed without prior intimation. Participants are requested to check the official MindSpark’20 website regularly for updates.

    4. In case of any disputes, the decision taken by the Event Heads will be considered final and binding to all.
