Started as a social cause in 2015, Paakhi, the social initiative of MindSpark has aimed to help women embrace their true potential. Through Paakhi we intend to innovate, strategize and execute measures that would touch a million lives and inspire a sense of responsibility towards the world at large. We intend to produce a ripple effect which will grow with every edition of MindSpark. From grassroot activism to worldwide action, we are entering an exciting period of history where the world expects balance between the two genders. We notice its absence and celebrate its presence. So here’s to making a difference!
Some of our initiatives were:
1) Breast Cancer workshop :
This year under Paakhi, in collaboration with Robin Hood Army and Prashanti Cancer care, MindSpark conducted breast cancer detection workshop in different slum areas of Pune. The people detected with this disease were provided with free treatment.
2) A Techno-Literacy:
If women are expected to do the same work as men, we must teach them the same things. With this purpose in mind and to commemorate Women's day, MS enthusiastically collaborated with Deep Griha Society, an independent charitable organization in teaching women in slum areas the correct usage of mobile phones and technology in today's world . Step by step, MindSpark aims to strengthen the foundation of technical literacy for a better future.
I am strong, I am beautiful, I am enough.
